Laurence Lambert-Chan ~
Pianist

Born May 29th, 1987,  Laurence pursues her graduate studies at Université de Montréal  where she studies under professor Jean-Eudes Vaillancourt.  She completed her Bachelor's Degree with professor Jean Saulnier at Université de Montréal. From 2001 to 2006 she attended the summer program at Adamant Music School in Vermont, U.S.A. where she studied with Seta Tanyel, Dmitry Rachmanov and John O’Connor. She also studied at the International Keyboard Institute and Festival (Mannes College of Music, New York) with several master teachers including Jeffrey Swann.

In 2001 Laurence was invited to be soloist with the Orchestre symphonique du conservatoire de musique de Trois-Rivières , under the baton of Gilles Bellemare. From 2003 to 2006 she performed numerous concerts, most notably with the Alliance musicale de Montréal, with Maestra Musique, as well as being a special guest speaker at the Université de Sherbrooke promoting Canadian music. She was also invited on two occasions by the Adamant School of Music to perform at their annual concert given in Carnegie Hall, New York.

 
Camille Lambert-Chan ~ Flutist

Born December 29th, 1992, Camille studies flute with Denis Bluteau, Flute Associate for the Montreal Symphony Orchestra and chamber music with Université de Montréal professor Jean-Eudes Vaillancourt.. She has also participated in Master classes with artists such as Leonne Buyse, Shigenori Kudo, Mathieu Dufour and Michel Debost. Since June 2008, Camille pursues her studies at the Domaine Forget Summer Academy.

IIn October of 2007, Camille was invited on four separate occasions to perform solo in “Future Stars” with the I Musici de Montréal orchestra, directed by maestro Yuli Turovsky. In December of 2008, she was invited to perform as a soloist with the Joliette Youth Symphony Orchestra.

Camille et Laurence Lambert-Chan

In June of 2006, upon special invitation by the Canadian Embassy in Peru, Camille and Laurence gave a series of concerts at the Canadian Embassy, at the National Conservatory of Lima, as well as a recital at Hogar Santa Maria orphanage. In July 2008, they played their first European concert at the Jean-Cocteau amphitheatre at the Cap d’Ail Festival in France.

Since 2005, the Lambert-Chan duet has been invited to take part in concerts with Quebec diva Natalie Choquette. They participated in several festivals, such as The Quebec Festival of Sacred Music, The “Festival de musique de Laterrière” in Saguenay, Québec, and the Montreal Chamber Music Festival. More recently, the Choquette-Lambert-Chan trio played a benefit concert entitled “Shubert`s Trout” at the Gésù concert hall. This concert was given in support of two non-profit organizations.

In the fall of 2008, Laurence and Camille took part of the media campaign Adoptez un musician.  They were invited to the Radio-Canada radio shows «Fréquences Libres» and «275-Allo».  In January 2009, they were intived to the TV show «M pour musique» on Radio-Canada.  They also made an appearance at the Gala Artis with Grégory Charles and Daniel Lavoie, broadcast on TVA TV channel in April 2009.

On June 12th, 2007, Camille and Laurence Lambert-Chan launched their first album « Un vent d’elles ».
